Velera Appoints Caldarelli as President

Tampa, Fla. (June 2, 2026) – Velera, the nation’s premier payments credit union service organization (CUSO) and an integrated financial technology solutions provider, today announced that Brian Caldarelli has been appointed president and will oversee the company’s day-to-day operations. Charles E. (“Chuck”) Fagan III, who will retire at the end of the company’s current fiscal year on September 30, 2026, will remain CEO until his retirement. As previously announced, Caldarelli will succeed Fagan and become the company’s president and chief executive officer effective October 1, 2026.

In addition to deepening his engagement across the organization as he prepares to assume the president and CEO position on October 1, Caldarelli will continue with his committed plan to engage with Velera clients across the country.
