Company: Capital One Bank

Voting is one of the most important civic responsibilities people have in a democracy, and the results of every election are critical to helping shape the future of our country. Capital One believes every American should exercise their essential right to vote and make their voice heard.

The 2020 presidential election had the highest voter turnout of the 21st century, with 66.8% of citizens 18 years and older voting in the election, according to new voting and registration tables released by the U.S. Census Bureau.

To keep up this momentum, Capital One is encouraging all eligible associates and customers to vote in the November 8 midterm election. The company is proud to continuously be expanding its internal and external communication efforts to ensure people have information on how, when, and where to vote.

“Capital One continues to champion civic engagement. We are proud of the opportunity to make the electoral process more accessible and understandable.” said Andy Navarrete, Capital One’s Executive Vice President of External Affairs. “We are excited to continue partnering with non-partisan civic organizations such as Civic AllianceEmployee's Vote, and Time to Vote to contribute in keeping up the momentum in voter participation in our country's elections.”
