TORONTO and CHICAGO - On June 12, thousands of BMO employees engaged in the rewarding opportunity of donating their time to hundreds of volunteer projects on BMO Volunteer Day.
"Every June, more than 4,000 BMO employees take part in the bank's Volunteer Day," said Darryl White, Chief Executive Officer, BMO Financial Group. "Together, we're a powerful force for positive change. Helping to build resilient communities is one of the ways we're here to help."
During business hours, BMO employees across Canada, the U.S. – and for the first time, U.K. and Ireland – gave their time to a wide range of local charities in more than 100 communities. The contributions included:
