In our quest to break new frontiers and a vision to become the leader in all of our markets. The Bank’s SME 1D1F Departments is embarking on a week-long market storm activity.
The storm activity is targeted at customers and prospective customers within Kantamanto market and its catchment area.
Team lead for the market storm also the heads of SME 1D1F Department, Mr. George Fuachie, said the aim of the storm is to engage existing customers and prospective customers within the catchment area to get feedback that will help enhance and sharpen the services of the Bank to deliver tailor-made solutions to give good customer experience.
The storm is also an initiative to drive deposits to help the Bank engage in big ticket transactions and service delivery.
“Deposits are the lifeline of every Bank; it is out of the deposits that we do a lot of things for our clients. So the focus of this activity is to win more deposits" Mr Fuachie said.
Apart from winning deposits, the market drive is geared towards selling the Bank's loan products targeted at SMEs and to create awareness on the bank's trade service.
GCB SME Loan Scheme has been designed to provide short to medium term credit facilitates to the tune of GHc100,000.00 with or without collateral.
The team visited some businesses in Kantamanto, UTC and the Rawlings Park.
Some of the businesses visited are; musical instrument sellers, as well as electronics and wax print dealers.
The market storm activity which is in partnership with the Consumer Banking Department and Regional Managers of the Bank is being carried out by all branches across the country.
