Richmond Hill, ON, Canada & SIOUX FALLS, SD, USA – August 2014 - The ATM Industry Association (ATMIA) today announced that the first Canadian ATM operator has been internationally certified for the industry’s professional online ATM operational training.

Peter Gregory, President of Peter Gregory ATMs, based in Ontario, has been awarded the industry-endorsed International Certificate for ATM Operators.

Mike Lee, CEO of ATMIA stated, “Peter Gregory ATMs has set the pace in the independent sector by being first to complete the professional ATM Operators’ training in Canada. ATMIA congratulates Peter on this proud achievement.”

The courses offered are online, represent job-specific training for ATM operators and have been developed by ATMIA on an international level for all ATM operators/owners irrespective of which markets they operate in. The content is based on extensive research into the operating practices and procedures of ATM businesses worldwide, drawing on ATMIA’s industry best practices and membership base of just under 5,000 individuals in 65 countries.

“Leadership is paramount to how we run our business.  Our mission is to be on the cutting edge of ATM operating practices in the Canadian industry.
