New! The ATMIA Spanish National Committee!

ATMIA Europe is delighted to announce the creation of the ATMIA Spanish National Committee.

With our Main European Event - ATM & Payments Innovation Summit 2018 - being staged in Madrid next year, what better time could there be to announce this new Spanish initiative.

The idea was suggested by Karina Zambrano of EuroTechZam and Achim Boers of Prosegur, both of whom are great supporters of all things ATMIA.

Karina explains the rationale for the new National Committee " The staging of the major ATMIA Event in Madrid next year has created so much excitement in the whole industry in Spain. Everyone wants to be involved, which is great! However, there is so much more the ATMIA does than simply run first-class Events. To get the full benefit of all the ATMIA does, both Achim and I felt we need a Spanish National Committee, which can focus on all the issues impacting the industry in Spain and devise ways the ATMIA and its members can deal with those issues"

Several Spanish ATMIA Members have already put themselves forward to work on the Committee, including Automatic Cash, Cashware and S21 Security, in addition, of course, to EuroTechZam and Prosegur.

Ron Delnevo, European Director of the ATMIA, is very enthusiastic about this initiative. " I must thank both Karina and Achim for this excellent suggestion. I am sure all Spanish Members will wish to join in and work together to ensure their is a great future for ATMs and cash in Spain. I hope this is the first of many ATMIA National Committees around Europe".
