GCB Bank yesterday presented comfortable seats to the Outpatient Department of the Tema Polyclinic in the Greater Accra Region.

The donation forms part of activities to mark the Bank’s 65^th anniversary across the country.

At a brief presentation and handing over ceremony, Mr. Samuel Amankwah, Deputy Managing Director (Operations) of the Bank remarked “the Bank has worthwhile plans and initiatives to support the clinic as a partner in its development and in the clinic’s quest to provide better and affordable health care to client’s from all walks of life.”

“Do not hesitate to come to us for further support and assistance if the need arises. We would be willing and supportive in any way possible to help sustain the vision and mission of the Tema Polyclinic.”

The Administrator of the Tema Polyclinic, Ms Josephine Boateng, expressed appreciation to the Management of the Bank for the kind gesture.

 She said the Polyclinic hardly receives donations from the public although it serves 100os of people in its catchment area.

“As for GCB we did not appeal and request. They came here own their own and handed everything to us. We are grateful to the Board, Management and staff of GCB,: the elated hospital administrator said.

She revealed the hospital now offers herbal medicine in addition to the orthodox treatment.

Head of Corporate Affairs Department of the Bank, Mrs. Thyra Obuobi, Head Consumer Banking, Mr. John Adama, Tema Zonal Manager, Mr. Albert Twum and other staff members of the Bank were present at the presentation.
