ALABAMA

The Board of Medical Examiners will accept comments until July 5 regarding proposed amendments to a rule related to risk and abuse mitigation strategies by prescribing physicians. Madison Hetzner at [email protected]

CALIFORNIA

The Senate Appropriations Committee will hold a public hearing July 2 regarding A.B. 2902, which revises the definition of an above ground storage tank to include containers that meet the same specifications as a tank. Holly Yanai at [email protected]

The Senate Committee on Judiciary will hold a public hearing July 3 regarding A.B. 2935, which prohibits the operator of a commercial health monitoring program from intentionally sharing, selling or disclosing individually identifiable health monitoring information in possession of or derived from a commercial health monitoring program to a third party without first providing clear and conspicuous notice and obtaining the consumer’s affirmative consent. GEORGIA

MAINE

The Department of Environmental Protection will accept comments until July 2 regarding a proposed rule concerning the recycling of electronic scrap waste. Brian LeFort at [email protected]

NORTH CAROLINA

The Department of Environmental Quality will accept comments until July 6 regarding drafted amendments to air quality rules. Melissa Martin at [email protected]

OHIO

The Department of Agriculture will hold a public hearing July 2 regarding proposed amendments to update requirements addressing definitions and standards for logos in labeling. Melissa Martin at [email protected]

TENNESSEE

The Nashville Metropolitan Council will meet July 3 to consider the second reading of an ordinance to amend the Metropolitan Code of Laws to regulate dockless bicycle and scooter operators and to establish a permitting system. Peter Finn at [email protected]
