The Committee on Business and Economic Development will hold a public hearing November 9 regarding B. 22-902, which provides that by January 1, 2019, no food service entity shall sell, use or provide a stirrer or straw with food unless they are compostable.

The Board of Pharmacy will accept comments until November 8 regarding proposed amendments to a rule concerning the supervision of pharmacy technicians.

The Robert G. Bethell Committee on Home and Community Based Services and KanCare Oversight will meet November 8-9 and is expected to receive presentations on KanCare from Individuals, Providers and Organizations, an update on KanCare Meaningful Measures Collaborative and a presentation on telemonitoring.
