ATMIA Presents an Opportunity to Contribute to Community Outreach in New Orleans

As New Orleans continues to rebuild, we challenge you all to make a donation to the Kingsley House, a wonderful organization as they assist families and individuals throughout the New Orleans area in one of the greatest recovery projects ever undertaken in America.

Kingsley House

Founded in 1896, Kingsley House has served the children and families of New Orleans through times of dramatic change for 111 years. From the challenges immigrants faced at the turn of the 20th century, to today's momentous challenges of recovery and rebuilding in our city and region, Kingsley House remains a safe haven to countless children and families and a beacon of hope for our community's future. Our mission of “educating children, strengthening families, building community” remains even more vital in the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Since the storms, over 10,000 infants, children, youth, parents, medically disabled adults and seniors from 12 parishes throughout Southeast Louisiana participated in our nationally accredited programs. Our approach during the revitalization of the Greater New Orleans Area is much like our approach has always been: person centered, community based and mission focused.

  • ATMIA will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Kingsley House
  • We CHALLENGE you to make a donation to the Kingsley House!
  • Donations will also be taken on-site at the Conference

Representatives from this organization will give an update on the post-Katrina recovery during the awards banquet where they will accept the check from ATMIA and the members/attendees, and provide information on how the money will be used.

For complete details on this challenge and how you can make your donation, please contact Amber Howell at 605-428-5400 or Dana Benson at 605-271-7468.
