Overview
Visa is offering informative Key Management workshops to provide up-to-date information on the management of the cryptographic keys used in:
  • ATMs
  • Point-of-Sale PIN pads
  • Cash dispensers
  • Hardware Security Modules
  • Kiosks and Automated Fuel Dispensers
All Visa, Plus and Interlink PIN accepting / processing entities are required to be in full compliance with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) PIN Security Requirements for the protection of interchange PINs. These workshops are an effective resource Visa provides to help acquirers and their agents ensure full compliance.

Education Requirements for Plus Members and Agents
Plus Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs), Encryption and Support Organizations (ESOs), Third Party Servicers (TPS) and staff from sponsoring acquirer institutions are required to attend a Visa Key Management Workshop at least once every three years.

The cost to attend is $495 per person for the one-day Visa Key Management Workshop and $1,395 for the three-day Visa PIN Security Auditor’s Workshop.

Visa One-Day Key Management Workshops and Three-Day PIN Security Auditor’s Workshop – 2008

These workshops have been arranged to facilitate arrival the night before or morning of the meeting and departure immediately following the closing of the sessions. Attendees will be responsible for their own transportation, hotel, and incidental expenses. The cost of the one-day Key Management workshop will be $495 and cost of the three-day PIN Auditor’s workshop will be $1,395. Attire is business casual.
