Latest ATM Scam in Australia

Recently a male posing as an ATM technician gained access to ATMs at a gaming venue and spent several hours working on them. After successfully installing computer and communication based devices this enabled the individual to capture all card details that occurred at the ATMs.

Luckily staff at the gaming venue checked with Cash Card Australia (Independent ATM company) and soon learnt that no technician had been arranged for this venue.

Police from the Australia’s Commercial and Electronic Crime Branch has since arrested this individual.
