The following projects are being run by GASA at present:

  • The first draft of a Multichannel Security best practice manual outlining best practices for the protection of the personal bank account across all delivery channels has been finished and includes important work on preventing insider fraud 
       
  • A ram raid best practice manual is being prepared by GASA as a result of an increase in this crime type in several countries

  • The ATMIA Debit Council, which has already published best practices for Stored Value or Pre-paid Cards, is drafting POS security best practices to define the POS security lifecycle and to facilitate collaboration between the ATM and POS sides of the business; this project team includes ATMIA, GASA, Fair Isaac, ATM network processors like NYCE and major POS manufacturers.
