Postilion Achieves Accelerating Growth in Africa

Postilion, a leading global provider of integrated solutions for self-service banking and payment processing, has clients ranging from very small banks, sometimes running a single ATM, to the largest independent operator of ATMs in the USA driving more than 25,000 ATMs. Postilion is used by the newest cellular network in South Africa, the largest retail chain in Canada, and the world's largest issuer of private-label cards.

Postilion has been firmly established in South Africa for over a decade. The past three years have seen a phenomenal increase in Postilion installations on the rest of the African continent, where we now have 50 clients.

The majority of Postilion’s African clients outside of South Africa are financial institutions or registered financial service providers. These institutions range from third-tier to multi-national commercial banks, transaction switches, and a mobile service provider. African banks typically drive small networks of ATMs and POS terminals. As these banks grow their customer bases and transaction volumes, they are able to add additional devices and channels to their Postilion platform via a rapid and cost-effective deployment.
