Join Your Colleagues in Washington

Here is your opportunity to make a difference. Join your colleagues and other ATMIA members for a day of meetings with legislators and staff in Washington, DC, April 10 - 11, 2018. We are also working to set up meetings with the FDIC, OCC and other regulators to help them better understand the U.S. ATM industry.

The next planning meeting will be scheduled for shortly after the U.S. conference. If you are interested in helping to plan this event, or setting up your own meetings in conjunction with the larger group, contact David Tente to be added to the meeting invitation list.

The proposed agenda for all meetings with legislators and staff is to focus on three items:

1.		An introduction to ATMIA and overview of our industry

2.		Review the impact that Operation Choke Point has had on our industry, and express support for the Financial Institution Customer Protection Act (H.R. 2706 was passed by the House in December).

3.		Express general concerns over the authority granted to and the lack of oversight of the CFPB. And as a result of those concerns, give our support for efforts to reform the CFPB.
