Call for Workshops

The first day of ATMIA’s annual conference is always devoted to committee meetings and workshops.  Workshops are typically scheduled as 3-hour, morning or afternoon sessions at the conference venue.  This year as an example, those sessions included “ATM Outsourcing/Managed Services... More than just Maintenance and Cash” and “BTM Deployments across the world, lessons learned and opportunities still available”.  The purpose of each workshop is to provide a deeper dive into specific topics, best practices, or issues of interest.

ATMIA is inviting individual members or groups to submit proposals for workshop sessions on February 14, 2024, in conjunction with our 25th annual conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Workshops must be strictly educational, without promotional content.  Topics should be relevant to the ATM industry, but do not necessarily need to align with the conference theme.  Sessions addressing industry Best Practices, business operations, specific technical challenges, etc, are very much of interest.  Suggested topics include customer experience at FI ATMs, cutting edge cash management, and ATM security, but all topics will be considered.

ATMIA will help facilitate the workshop planning, provide audio/video equipment, refreshments, and the meeting room.  A limited number of speakers can be provided with complementary registrations for the conference.

Please keep in mind that workshops are free with a full conference registration – but it is still important that the content be relevant and educational.  Typical attendance will range from 50 – 200 per session.

Interested parties should submit a brief summary of the workshop, a working title, tentative speakers, and a description of the target audience.  Proposals will be accepted until September 15, 2023.  Please complete the form below.  If you are also submitting a speaking proposal for the conference, please clearly note that this is a workshop proposal.

All proposals will be reviewed by our Speaker Committee, which will work with ATMIA staff to select the most interesting and appropriate content for the conference.

Please note: ATMIA greatly appreciates speakers donating their time and knowledge; however, we cannot reimburse or pay for a speaker’s travel or accommodations.  All speakers will receive a complimentary pass to the conference.
