This webinar assesses the potential for hardware upgrades for ATM operators moving from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Windows 10 is the industry’s designated successor of Windows 7, which Microsoft will no longer support after January 2020. Although the hardware requirements for Windows 7 and Windows 10 are quite similar, Intel and Microsoft do not envisage support for Windows 10 on older processors. This may result in ATM operators potentially having to upgrade their ATMs before installing Windows 10, which adds a new complexity to Windows 10 migration.
