Triton EMV Certified with CDS!
Monday, September 16, 2013
Columbus Data Services (CDS), an industry leading ATM processor, has successfully completed MasterCard end-to-end certification for all current Triton ATM products. As a result, CDS is now processing EMV-compliant transactions on the MasterCard networks. The certification includes the Triton RL, RT, FT, Traverse, and the new ARGO series ATMs running the Triton Dynamic Language (previously known as Triton Standard) message format.
“Triton is pleased to partner with CDS in this effort as the industry migrates to the full adoption of EMV,” said James Phillips, vice president of sales and marketing at Triton. “With a focus on supporting the ISO community, Triton now offers a fully EMV-compliant solution for Triton ATM products shipping over the past 10 years.”
John Willmon, senior vice president of CDS added, “With this certification, CDS solidifies itself as a leader in the retail ATM processing space.” “For those ISOs experiencing fraud at the ATM, CDS now offers a solution to offset the liability shift through immediate conversion to EMV.”
The ATM industry faces a number of liability shift deadlines, the first being for transactions over the MasterCard Maestro network effective April 2013. The next deadline for all MasterCard networks is set for October 2016, followed by a VISA liability shift deadline of October 2017.
