View ShowroomATMIA announced today that over 300 companies worldwide are now participating in the association’s global future-proofing exercise to create a new API App model for ATMs, integrating the 50 plus year-old technology of ATMs into the emerging mobile-digital ecosystem.
“I’m delighted that we’ve reached for the first time the milestone of over 300 companies on board for launching Next Gen ATMs in the breakthrough year of 2020,” Mike Lee, CEO of ATMIA and Chairperson of the Consortium for Next Gen ATMs, said. “There’s a massive groundswell of support and enthusiasm across all sectors of the industry for the project to make ATMs relevant for a new generation of customers. The new App-based ATMs will provide fast, convenient access to cash and a range of digital services.”
