London, UK & South Dakota, USA – ATMIA today clarified the future of its European industry conferences following the end of the joint conference partnership with RBR.
“ATMIA created the European ATMs and ATM Security events back in 2001 and it goes without saying that the association will continue to produce these two important events for the foreseeable future,” explained Mike Lee, CEO of ATMIA. “The industry will continue to see them in their traditional calendar slots for years to come.”
Having just forged a brand new conference partnership with Reconnaissance International to join forces for the good of the industry, Lee is optimistic about the continued success of the events.
“Reconnaissance has a strong pedigree and lots of energy,” ATMIA’s CEO commented. “The combination of their knowledge base, worldwide contacts and deep conference experience with our non-profit mission, knowledge and track record of serving the industry will produce an excellent synergy which will benefit the industry in the coming years.”
The future European events have been re-branded to focus on global innovation as follows:
ATM & Cash Innovation Europe 2017, 13th -14th June, 2017 (Lancaster Hotel, London)
ATM & Cash Security Europe, 17th-18th October, 2017 (Lancaster Hotel, London)
“See you all at the same time and place next year!” Lee said. “2017 is a big year, too, with a double commemoration – the 50th anniversary of the ATM and the 20th anniversary of ATMIA, all in the same year. Looks like the stars are aligning for us…”
Added to this new partnership for the future, ATMIA has secured Fintech Finance, a well-known online and print form magazine, as a media partner for all future conferences.
“A new era will start for ATMIA, its members, supporters and partners, in 2017, as we take the industry forward into a strong future,” Lee concluded.
