Soon you will be able to get cash at your DMV in South Carolina.
Founders Federal Credit Union is bringing ATMs to 20 DMV locations and 15 companies throughout the state, according a company press release. Credit union members get surcharge free access to the machines.
ATM service company AOne is handling the placement of the new machines. This brings the total number of ATMs that AOne operates for the South-Carolina based credit union to 59.
"With a large fleet of ATMs, we see a significant cost savings by outsourcing our off-premise machines to AOne," said Joe McCain, Founders' chief procurement officer. "It is also very important to us that we are protected from a regulatory perspective. AOne handles all of that for us and provides us with all the documentation our regulators demand."
Founders has ATMs stationed at employee groups, such as Westinghouse, Shutterfly, Draxlmaier, Black and Decker, US Foods, DISH Network and Giti Tire and college campuses.
The credit union, which services over 200,000 members, said the new placements provide account access in the places its members work, shop and do business. AOne takes care of the branding and regulatory requirements for the company, according to the release.
