Bank Al Jazira has announced that it has signed an agreement with Gedia, a leading provider of innovative IT solutions to launch the first mobile POS service for the first time in the Kingdom. This device provides the business with the latest electronic payment methods, which enable them to facilitate the payment of the value of purchases to their customers by delivering their services and products and collect the value of sales automatically and directly anywhere or around the clock. The agreement was signed by Mr. Nabil Bin Daoud Al Hoshan, CEO and Managing Director of Al Jazira Bank, and Mr. Abdullah Faisal Al Othman, CEO of Gidia, in the presence of a number of officials from Al Jazira Bank and Gidia at Al Jazira Bank in Riyadh.
Al Jazirah CEO and Managing Director, Mr. Nabil Al Hoshan, said that the signing of this new agreement comes as part of Bank Aljazira's commitment to promote customer service to the highest levels and to provide innovative and innovative products that enhance the Bank's leadership in payment services.
On his part, Gaidia CEO Abdullah Al-Othman said that the launch of the Mobile POS device comes from GEDIA's keenness to provide the latest IT solutions that enhance the advanced payment systems in the Kingdom to serve the business sector.
It is worth mentioning that the mobile POS device, which is introduced for the first time in the Kingdom, is characterized by its small size and ease of operation, using mobile devices so that ATM cards or credit cards are entered with the PIN after entering the amount of the purchasing process through the mobile application of the merchant, The mobile devices of the merchant and serves this device a large segment of the business sector, such as restaurants and home delivery, office and taxi services and business in temporary or mobile sites will be launched soon after obtaining the necessary approvals.
