JOHNSON CITY, Tenn., Mar. 29, 2017 – Banc Intranets, a provider of secure, web-based enterprise content management solutions for financial institutions, announced that Citizens Bank is leveraging its DirectorsLink board portal to increase savings and strengthen director oversight.
Citizens Bank was seeking a solution to improve preparation and access to consistent, accurate information during board and committee meetings, while also reducing the need for printed meeting packets and other operational costs. After considering competing options, the bank selected DirectorsLink for its ease-of-use, ability to provide remote access and reporting functionality – which also enhance the bank’s compliance efforts. The bank, having launched DirectorsLink in 2014, has since gone completely paperless in all its director and employee committee meetings.
"DirectorsLink has been invaluable in helping us lower paper costs, improve how we prepare for meetings and ensure board members and bank officers have access to consistent, accurate information," said Pam Hutchins, Assistant VP of Citizens Bank. "On top of all the time we save not having to print board and committee packets, the ability to provide our directors and officers with remote access to meetings has helped us focus our energy on expansion efforts and supporting our local community, rather than on tedious daily procedures."
"In today’s fast-paced, technology-driven world, it is imperative that bank leaders stay up to date in how they collaborate and report to each other," said Mark Anderson, founder and CEO of Banc Intranets. "We are proud to recognize Citizens Bank for its three years with DirectorsLink and its unparalleled commitment to providing board members with the tools they need for success, which allows them to focus on providing customers with exceptional financial service."
