With millions of students now turning to the internet for education and entertainment, parents are taking on elevated responsibility to protect their kids online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Among them is U.S. Bank Information Security Manager Charles Banks, whose 9-year-old daughter Marlee is home from school in Cincinnati, Ohio. Keeping young people safe online is nothing new to Charles, though, as it is both part of his job at U.S. Bank and a volunteer passion through organizations such as Girl Scouts of Western Ohio and Navigo Scholars.

To help educate parents and their kids, Charles and Marlee recently hosted a video on the U.S. Bank Facebook page covering fake profiles, password- and location-sharing, and much more.

Charles and Marlee are available to share these and other tips on media interviews via video or audio call. For more information, contact Susan Beatty at [email protected].
