Dubai, 02 October 2018: Emirates NBD, a leading banking group in the region, has announced the introduction of Friday banking at three of its popular mall branches – Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, and Mirdif City Centre. Customers now have the flexibility to conduct banking at their own convenience, with these branches now open on Friday between 3 and 9 pm.
The new Friday hours will enable customers seeking to open accounts or apply for credit cards or loans to interact with experienced sales advisors, in addition to using the bank’s 24/7 digital self-service channels.
Suvo Sarkar, Senior Executive Vice President & Group Head – Retail Banking and Wealth Management, Emirates NBD said: “Our strategy is to proactively seek ways in which we can improve customer experience, with accessibility to our services at their convenience being our priority. We appreciate the fact that many of our customers live busy lives, and by opening up our branches in additional hours, we hope to make meeting their banking needs easier than ever before.”
The introduction of Friday banking marks another milestone in Emirates NBD’s ‘Customer First’ journey. The bank’s ‘high tech meets high touch’ philosophy has seen Emirates NBD evolve its branch network and operation timings to respond to changing customer needs, by introducing convenient digital self-service channels, in addition to offering customers the opportunity to interact with sales advisors at the times and locations of their preference.
The bank has also fully digitized several transactions with customers able to apply for a personal loan or sign up for a new account, a new credit card or a new investment product without providing or signing a single piece of paper.
