View ShowroomSydney, Australia & SIOUX FALLS, SD, USA – April 2015 - The ATM Industry Association (ATMIA) announced that the first Asia Pacific business has been internationally certified through the industry’s professional online ATM operational training.
George Athanasakis, Director of Australian Technology Management Pty Ltd, has been awarded the industry-endorsed International Certificate for ATM Operators.
Mike Lee, CEO of ATMIA stated, “ATMIA is proud to announce that long-standing member and ATMIA Accredited Consultant, George Athanasakis has become the first person to complete the certified online ATM operational training in Asia Pacific, thereby setting the pace for the industry in the region. I would like to congratulate George for reaching this professional milestone. He deserves his place in the association’s industry Hall of Honour.”
The courses offered are online, represent job-specific training for ATM operators and have been developed by ATMIA on an international level for all ATM operators/owners irrespective of which markets they operate in. The content is based on extensive research into the operating practices and procedures of ATM businesses worldwide, drawing on ATMIA’s industry best practices and membership base of just under 5,000 individuals in 65 countries.
“A standarised training for ATM Operators was a missing element for the industry. I am proud that ATMIA has lead the industry in this initiative with an easy to use, on-line format. The training accurately covers the day to day duties for this position and is a must for all in this position to take,” stated George Athanasakis, Director of Australian Technology Management Pty Ltd.
Participation in the ATM Operator training is user-friendly, with all courses automatically tracked electronically via ATMIA’s website. The certification earned increases the credibility and visibility of professional operators.
“In realising the importance of the ATM Industry’s first standardised operational training course, George has lead the industry and through the completion of this course has gained both professional knowledge and training. This achievement is a credit to George and highlights his commitment to the ATM Industry,” commented Sandra Smith, Executive Director, Asia Pacific.
