TN Senate Bill 1478, signed into law on March 17, 2014, eliminates outdated restrictions on non-bank ownership of ATMs.  Previously, IADs were forced to create a pointless, $1 per year lease (or some similar document) with a bank, for each ATM they operated within the State of Tennessee.  Cardtronics and ATMIA partnered to thoroughly research the issue and advocate for a change to the existing law.  Click here to view the signed Bill.
