Kaspersky is pleased to announce the growth of its Managed Service Provider (MSP) business, which now includes 2,000 providers. Since the launch of the MSP Program in 2017, ecosystems have continued to develop across North America, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa, with the highest number of registered partners in Europe.
Today, MSPs are strong holding their position in the cybersecurity market as business customers increasingly choose to outsource IT security services. According to Kaspersky research, 14% of SMBs outsource IT to MSPs to reduce costs and mitigate cybersecurity risks.
Growing MSP partnerships continues to be a strategic business priority for Kaspersky. In January 2019, the company unveiled its updated partner program, Kaspersky United, which includes enhancements for new and existing MSP partners. By implementing a new, streamlined registration process, MSPs can now become an approved partner faster than ever before. The dedicated Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business training, which is essential for endpoint protection, has been updated to simplify and accelerate MSP specializations for partners who have recently joined the company ecosystem. This training helps MSP partners become experts in endpoint protection, deployment, security policy setting, monitoring and reporting. Kaspersky’s MSP offering also includes updated financial benefits. With flexible pricing, managed service providers can demand special rates when committing to certain levels of product license sales.
“Kaspersky's extensive product portfolio enables us to protect our customers, from SMEs to enterprises, against cybercrime,” said Christian Boertje, general director, De Gezonde Digitale Organisatie. “The personal and direct contact we have with the Kaspersky team helps us to quickly answer customer inquiries. That is why we highly value our cooperation with Kaspersky, especially for the long-term.”
“At Kaspersky, we are deeply committed to the relationship we have with our partner community and understand the importance of quickly and seamlessly adjusting to their needs to best serve their clients,” said Matthew Courchesne, head of channel at Kaspersky North America. “The recent updates we have made to our MSP Partner Program allows us to do just that for new and existing partners so that they are able increase profitability while still having access to Kaspersky’s award-winning tools and security solutions.”
Kaspersky’s cybersecurity portfolio includes a range of products for MSPs including endpoint protection, cloud services and cloud environments. According to Kaspersky research, cloud-based security is growing in popularity and currently accounts for one-fifth of purchases among its MSP offerings. With Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud, partners can provide cybersecurity support for small and medium-sized customers with ease to implement cloud protection that can be managed through a web console without the need for additional investment in hardware.
