Missouri police investigating ATM hook and chain theft

Police in Versailles, Missouri are investing an ATM theft at the West Vue Shopping Center. Suspects allegedly used a stolen Dodge pickup with a chain to pull the security door off the ATM and steal an unknown amount of cash, according to a report by Lake Expo.

Police say two ATMs have been targeted in the Rolla County area so far. There are at least three to four suspects currently.

"We will continue to work the investigation and collaborate with other agencies and advise on any further developments," Chief Chad Hartman said in the report.

The investigation is ongoing.
