ATLANTA – June 21, 2021 – NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR), a global enterprise technology provider for the financial industry, and the ATM Industry Association (ATMIA), today announced certification of NCR’s Activate Enterprise NextGen ATM application to the new ATMIA Next Gen standardized API ecosystem. NCR is the first technology provider to achieve this milestone. 

This new certification standard is instrumental for financial institutions that want to leverage modern web technologies on their ATMs to deliver exceptional mobile-like experiences. Additionally, it allows interoperability between vendors and provides access to banking and fintech services that significantly expand the functionality of the ATM.
