Planet, Network International partner to launch DCC at 1,000 ATMs in UAE

Planet Payment, an international payments service based in Ireland, has partnered with digital commerce provider Network International LLC to roll-out dynamic currency conversion at more than 1,000 ATMs in the United Arab Emirates, according to a press release.

Visitors using Visa cards in the UAE now have the option of withdrawing cash displayed in their home currencies with over 130 currencies available through the service, Planet said. 

Pay In Your Currency enables international shoppers to see the exact amount of their purchase in their home currency at the time-of-sale and on their statement, providing the certainty of knowing the final cost in the currency they understand best, Planet said in the release. 

"This initiative will add value to our clients, and we look forward to future collaborations that support our commitment to enhance the UAE's banking and payment ecosystems," Samer Soliman, managing director of the Middle East at Network International, said in the release.
