Everlink Payment Services Inc. is pleased to announce that Prospera Credit Union has selected Everlink’s Merchant Acquiring Program (MAP) to provide diverse solutions for their commercial members of all sizes. With over 63,000 members throughout British Columbia, Prospera joins a number of credit unions who have selected Everlink’s MAP Program in recent years.

In designing the MAP Program three years ago, Everlink spoke with Financial Institutions about their experience with their merchant services referral program. Almost all of their Financial Institution partners had the same key requirements and expectations: superior customer service management support and regular, ongoing communication. Everlink designed its MAP Program to meet its Financial Institution client’s requirements and exceed their expectations, allowing them to offer superior services and communications with their partners and commercial members/customers.

“At Prospera, we believe that businesses deserve payment solutions as unique as they are” says Shawn Good, President and CEO of Prospera Credit Union. “Expanding our relationship with Everlink will ensure that our business members find solutions that truly fit their individual payment acceptance needs. We are excited to partner with Everlink to offer our members access to the wide range of innovative and industry leading services that Everlink provides.”

“Everlink believes that a key differentiator of our Merchant Acquiring Program is its Customer Service Management Model. We are pleased that Prospera Credit Union was confident that this direction would strengthen the relationship between them and their commercial members,” says Mark Ripplinger, President & CEO, of Everlink. “We believe that a successful merchant services program must be designed to achieve a high degree of collaboration. In particular, it is vitally important to have strong collaboration during the partner boarding phase, otherwise, the relationship will struggle from the onset.”

It has been Everlink’s experience that small businesses’ knowledge and understanding of payment processing solutions is diverse and varied. There are many small businesses that are looking for basic processing services only, whereas other small business customers are looking to enhance the range of payment processing products and services that they can use. Thus, the menu of products and services can be quite varied.

Similar to the experience of Financial Institutions, it has been the experience of Everlink’s Merchant Services team that the small business sector particularly appreciates Everlink’s consultative sales approach to its MAP Program. Everlink staff make it a habit to take the time to understand the business owners’ requirements and offer relevant and affordable recommendations based upon these requirements.
