SKOGEN’S FESTIVAL FOODS PARTNERS WITH CASHTECH CURRENCY PRODUCTS AND CIMA

Wisconsin – (January 5, 2024) – Skogen’s Festival Foods is pleased to share that they will deploy CIMA Cash Recycling solutions across all stores in collaboration with CashTech Currency Products. With labor shortages, shrinkage and productivity issues being a growing issue among grocers, CIMA’s innovative solutions provided an excellent opportunity for Festival Foods to streamline cash handling processes and reducing the dependency on manual labor in their stores.

After a successful proof of concept (POC) it was obvious that Cash Recyclers would have a positive impact on several areas of our business, such as employee satisfaction, reduced cost of store operations and more streamlined finance, treasury and bookkeeping functions,” Crystal Seiler, VP of Finance at Festival Foods states. “We searched for not only the right cash management solution, but the right business partner to roll out this crucial technology for our business. After completing the POC with CashTech and CIMA, we realized we had found a great long-term fit for our business.

Vik Devjee, Vice President of CIMA America states, “The implementation of CIMA’s Platino (AST7008+CDS803), along with the self-sealing stacking bag, offered Festival Foods an optimal cash management solution. The inclusion of our C-Link software platform provided comprehensive cash visibility and enhanced the efficiency of the reconciliation process. We were thrilled to collaborate with CashTech to identify the perfect solution to meet Festival Foods’ requirements.

CIMA’s Platino (AST7008+CDS803), along with the self-sealing stacking bag, provided the ultimate solution with a quick and automatic till dispense for all cash denominations. The end of day cash up process became significantly more efficient and safe. The recycling capability also reduced the overall in-store cash requirements while the self-sealing stacking bag provided a faster and safer CIT pickup process.

Larry McCarter, President & CEO at CashTech, expressed his appreciation for the new relationship, stating, “The Festival Team has been very thorough and organized in both their solution selection and implementation processes. We feel welcomed into their partner community as well as an important extension to the overall Festival Foods success strategy. It is an absolute pleasure to work with companies when the client values align with ours.
