State Level Legislative Alerts Off the Charts

State level legislative alerts have exceeded 1,000 for the first time ever. In fact, over 1,200 alerts have already been received for 394 bill introductions for 2024. Two-thirds are related to cryptocurrency or digital assets – even more than in 2023. Only 7 states have not introduced any legislation for issues that ATMIA is monitoring. New York, Minnesota and Arkansas continue to lead the pack for total new bills introduced with 58, 27 and 21 bills, respectively.
