FLORIDA

The Miami Beach City Commission will meet July 17 to discuss e-scooter share programs and public comments on the matter gathered by the Neighborhood & Community Affairs Committee.

The Miami Beach City Commission will meet July 17 to discuss a report from the Sustainability & Resiliency Committee concerning the plastic bag ordinance and public comment on the subject.

The Labor Services Division will accept comments until July 16 regarding proposed amendments to its organizational procedures and wage claim rules.

MASSACHUSETTS

The Joint Committee on Labor and Workforce Development will hold a public hearing July 15 regarding SB 1110, which provide such employee with a written, good faith estimate of the employee’s work schedule.

The Joint Committee on Education will hold a public hearing July 16 regarding HB 588, which establishes that storage of confidential data from students and staff shall be unlawful outside of needs specific to educational, legal, and government purposes; reasonable knowledge acquired based on personal relationships; and, when not extraneous to the product sold, business needs.

MISSOURI

The Department of Insurance, Financial Institutions and Professional Registration will accept comments until July 17 and hold a public hearing July 18 regarding proposed amendments to the Medicare supplement minimum standards and data reporting rules.

The House Education - K-12 Committee will hold a public hearing July 16 regarding SB 123, which requires that rules providing sick leave for public school employees must allow sick leave to be transferred between a charter school and a local school administrative unit.

The Department of Medicaid will hold a public hearing and accept comments until July 15 regarding proposed amendments to its rules regarding the coordination of benefits for Dual Eligibles.
