View ShowroomTransaction Network Services (TNS) has reached a major milestone with the Competitive Carriers Association (CCA) LTE Roaming Hub. The Hub has added key international destinations and now satisfies over 85% of the international roaming requirements of the Hub’s member operators.
TNS’ roaming portfolio seamlessly enables operators to expand their domestic and international footprint while maximizing network effectiveness with a suite of visibility and intelligence tools. TNS has recently expanded the Hub to the top 10 international destinations including Mexico, Canada, Dominican Republic, Italy, France, Germany, Spain, and the UK.
Paul Florack, Vice President of Product Management at TNS, said, “We are delighted to welcome a number of new members to our Hub, which not only widens our coverage significantly but also provides additional inbound roaming revenue opportunities for new members. The CCA LTE Roaming Hub is designed to be extremely cost-effective and efficient, giving access to multiple operators through a single supplier.
“As subscribers expect LTE quality coverage as the norm, operators are under growing pressure to upgrade their technological capabilities. Through the CCA LTE Roaming Hub, TNS provides roaming to and from 4G networks, including VoLTE roaming, and circuit-switched fall back to Inter-Standard Roaming on 3G voice and SMS. TNS Hub members have a competitive advantage by offering LTE roaming to their subscribers, while simplifying their roaming strategy.”
Steven K. Berry, President & CEO of CCA, said, “We are extremely pleased to be celebrating the expanding coverage of CCA’s LTE Roaming Hub. TNS and CCA are dedicated to continuing this vital investment in our Hub to ensure it maintains its market leading position and realizes its full potential. Together, these partnerships will help expand and deploy service to more consumers across vast areas.”
