Transaction Network Services, a Reston, Virginia-based ATM communications provider, has announced that the company will launch TNSLink for ATMs, in Canada. 

TNSLink for ATMs is a fully managed service designed to maximize uptime and reliability and reduce capital investment and operating costs. The service boosts core network availability and hardware performance, and provides multiple failover options — all while enabling ATM communications cost savings of up to 26 percent, according to a company press release.

Recent enhancements to TNSLink for ATMs include:

• An application that selects and uses the strongest wireless signal for the successful deployment of wireless ATMs.
• Remote upload capability for communications-related files.
• 4G coverage in a majority of locations.

The service supports all ATM types and can connect with DSL, wireless and build-your-own communications, and can be set up with dual SIMs, or as a wired service with wireless backup.

Additional features include instant SIM management; delivery of "zero-touch" and telco-independent solutions; and near real-time visibility into ATM fleet performance through TNSOnline, the release said.
