The trial for three men in Grand Rapids, Michigan accused of murdering a man at an ATM began on June 6.

On May 24, 50-year old Joseph Wilder was shot and killed at an Huntington Bank ATM in Byron Township, according to a report by Wood TV.

Prosecutors claim Rhishy Manning, Jaheim Hayes-Goree and Javonte Rosa were taking part in a five-hour crime spree that involved two stolen vehicles and several store robberies at gunpoint.

In the case of Wilder, prosecutors state it was a case of "wrong place, wrong time," as bank surveillance footage reveals the moment gunmen walked up to Wilder's truck and shot him.

"It is one of the saddest examples of being at the wrong place at the wrong time," Monica Janiskee, chief assistant prosecutor, Kent County told the news outlet.

Janiskee requested in her opening statement that the jury find the men guilty for all charges.
