Welcome to 2023

Hello and Welcome to 2023. As I start my first full year as CEO of ATMIA, I am super excited to think about our industry and the global economy. The last three years have been challenging at best and we will always be faced with ongoing domestic and world issues, however, the opportunities in front of us and our resolve have never been stronger. A couple of changes we have made to help our global members are, the promotion of Erika Navarrete to Executive Director for Europe and Emerging Markets along with Sofia Sadiq taking on an expanded advocacy role, supporting all of our international members. Erika has been with ATMIA for 12 years and will be an invaluable resource to help drive ATMIA’s vison throughout the region along with ensuring we are meeting our members needs. In addition, Sofia will be focused on driving member value with strong advocacy for our industry and running our newly formed Advocacy Council. We hope you will all sign up for the Council and help us follow and support those issues which matter most to you and your companies.

ATMIA will continue to be a leader in driving support for NEXT GENERATION ATMs and future proofing this critical technology in support of our 2050 vision. The last 5 years have provided our industry with a roadmap to help companies NEXT GEN certify and be prepared to support their customers and deliver ubiquitous cash acceptance and  electronic commerce at the ATM. A few other items to note for 2023, we will be conducting our biennial ASA/ATMIA Global Crime Summit in Nashville Tennessee, September 13-14, 2023. We are expecting 100 plus attendees and will bring together the world’s best security and cyber crime experts to dive into this growing global challenge. In addition, our ATMIA European/Emerging Makert23 conference is scheduled for October 18-19, 2023, in Dublin Ireland. Our call for speakers will be going out soon so be on the look out and be a part of the premier Global ATM Industry Conference.
