Around the world physical attacks on ATMs are dramatically increasing, both in their number and the range of methods used by criminals to successfully reach the cash. Historically numerous measures have been introduced to deter criminals from attacking ATMs, all be it with varying degrees of success, but now the self-service environment is changing - ATMs in new locations with a wider range of services such as cash recycling which makes the ATMs more vulnerable to attack and at the same time an even more attractive target to criminals.
This webinar will look at this trend from both an international and US perspective together with the latest information available on ATM physical attacks.
In addition the webinar will also include coverage of the effective counter measures that have been deployed regardless of environment, to support this there will be a case study of the measures that have been introduced in France to successfully reduce physical ATM attack numbers.
