There are exciting and valuable changes that have been made to your ATMIA membership, which began the first of this year. ASA (the ATM Security Association) assets and resources have been merged with ATMIA – security best practices, fraud alerts, the Theoretical Risk Register, and the ATM crime database, to name a few.
The CCMIS (Crisis & Crime Management Intelligence System) is a global ATM crime database that currently holds more than 42,000 incidents of crime from over 3,700 reports. Until a few months ago, 100% of ATMIA members could report crime, but 83% of ATMIA members did not have access to the crime database itself. This webinar is a great opportunity for you and your staff to learn what the CCMIS is capable of.
Join us on May 15th to learn how to:
• Create an alias for anonymous crime reporting
• Search for specific types of crime
• Analyze crime trends in any given combination of states/regions/countries
• Compare crime results over different periods of time
• Examine what types of crime are happening where
• Handle suspected duplicates
• Use the built-in reports and analytical tools
• Importing and exporting bulk data
• Where law enforcement fits in
None of this works if our members avoid reporting ATM crime that they become aware of – whether it be their own or someone else’s. ATMIA encourages every member to assist in adding to this reservoir of data. And now that everyone has access to this important asset, we hope that will also serve as an incentive to report that attack that just happened last night . . . right now.
The webinar is free for all ATMIA members and $95 for non-members.
