🚨 BREAKING NEWS: A Major Step Forward for Cash Access!
The U.S. Senate has passed the Safe Access to Cash Act of 2026 (S. 3798) by voice vote, along with the substitute amendment. Next stop: the U.S. House.
Introduced by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), the legislation will strengthen federal protections for ATMs by establishing criminal offenses for certain violations involving ATMs, regardless of whether they are located on the physical premises of a financial institution.
This is an important milestone for ATM security, cash access and the millions of people who rely on ATMs every day.
