Thursday, June 26, 2025

South Dakota, US – The ATM Industry Association (ATMIA) is proud to announce the appointment of Lee Williamson, Managing Director at CMS Analytics, to its Board of Directors. With over a decade of experience in ATM and cash operations, Lee brings a unique blend of analytical expertise and commercial leadership to the association at a pivotal time for the industry.

Lee Williamson joined CMS Analytics in 2014 as a Research Analyst, where he quickly developed a reputation for deep insight into the ATM, cash, and banking industries. Progressing into leadership roles, including VP of Commercial Development and, since 2019, Managing Director, he has played a central role in partnering with financial institutions and independent ATM deployers (IADs) to improve the efficiency, security, and customer value of their cash operations.
“Lee’s appointment strengthens our Board with a forward-thinking, data-driven leader who understands both the strategic and operational challenges facing our industry,” said Lonnie C. Talbert, CEO of ATMIA. “His advocacy for payment choice and focus on the customer experience make him an ideal representative of the next generation of ATM industry leadership.”
As a strong advocate for the importance of cash in a diversified payment ecosystem, Lee has consistently emphasized the need to maintain access to physical payment methods, particularly for vulnerable populations and underserved communities.
“I’m honored to join the ATMIA Board of Directors and look forward to working with fellow members to support the evolution of our industry,” said Lee Williamson. “Access to cash remains essential for millions around the world, and I’m committed to ensuring the ATM industry continues to innovate while protecting the freedom of payment choice.”
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Lee enjoys traveling, sports, and spending time with his wife and their two young daughters.
