ATMIA Europe & Emerging Markets – July Member Update
Monday, July 13, 2026
As summer arrives across much of Europe, many of us are preparing for well-earned holidays and a slightly slower pace over the coming weeks. While this is traditionally a quieter time for business, the ATMIA Europe & Emerging Markets team is already hard at work planning an exciting second half of the year.

Executive Director
ATMIA
Europe & Emerging Markets
First, I'd like to thank everyone who contributed to making our Europe & Emerging Markets Roadshow such a success. The enthusiasm, collaboration and valuable discussions in Madrid and Berlin reinforced the strength of our community and the importance of bringing the industry together where our members are.
Although many organisations pause during July and August, ATMIA certainly isn't slowing down.
Looking Ahead to October – Emerging Markets Webinar Series
Planning is already underway for our Emerging Markets Webinar Series, launching in October.
This series will bring together industry experts from across Africa, the Middle East and other emerging markets to discuss the latest developments shaping our industry. Topics will include innovation in cash and payments, financial inclusion, security, ATM transformation, digitalisation and the evolving role of self-service banking.
More information, speakers and registration details will be announced after the summer break, and we look forward to welcoming members from across the region online.

Cape Town Workshop – November/December
We're also pleased to be preparing a special industry workshop in Cape Town, delivered in collaboration with the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) through the Currency Research initiative.
Taking place towards the end of November into early December, this workshop will provide an opportunity for industry leaders, financial institutions, central banks and solution providers to exchange knowledge, discuss current challenges and explore practical solutions for the future of cash and payments across the region.
Further details, including the agenda and registration information, will be shared in the coming months.
Membership Renewals During the Summer
For members with renewals due in July and August, we'd like to encourage you to renew before heading off on holiday.
Renewing early helps avoid your membership getting caught up in the busy return after the summer break and ensures uninterrupted access to all ATMIA benefits, resources and events.
Don't forget that eligible members can still take advantage of our 5% Early Renewal Discount or choose the convenience of our 7% Auto-Renewal option.
If you have any questions about your membership or renewal, please don't hesitate to get in touch. I'm always happy to help.
Thank You
Thank you for your continued support of ATMIA and for being part of such a collaborative and forward-thinking community.
Whether you're taking a summer holiday or continuing business as usual, I wish you a relaxing and productive season. I look forward to reconnecting with many of you over the coming months as we prepare for an exciting programme of webinars, workshops and member engagement across Europe and Emerging Markets.
Warm regards,
Erika Navarrete
