Monday, October 12, 2026

Irving, TX — October 12, 2026 — The ATM Industry Association (ATMIA) has appointed John C. Campbell IV as Senior Director, USA and Americas, bringing nearly three decades of experience across the ATM, payments, and financial services industries to the leadership of ATMIA’s largest and most influential region.

In this highly visible role, Campbell will lead ATMIA’s regional strategy across the United States and Americas, with a focus on strengthening member value, advancing industry advocacy, expanding engagement, and elevating ATMIA’s presence and influence throughout the region.
Campbell’s career spans virtually every facet of the ATM and payments ecosystem, including financial institutions, EFT networks and processing, ATM operations, telecommunications and technology providers, and the independent ATM sector. Most recently, he served in senior product leadership at FCTI, one of the largest independent ATM deployers in the United States.
“John brings an exceptional combination of industry experience, leadership, relationships, and a deep understanding of our members and the markets they serve,” said Lonnie C. Talbert, President, ATMIA and Chief Industry Executive, ePayResources. “He understands this industry from multiple perspectives, and his longstanding involvement with ATMIA gives him a unique appreciation for our mission and the role we play in bringing the industry together. We are excited to have John take on this important leadership role and help shape the next chapter for ATMIA across the Americas.”
A longtime ATMIA member and volunteer leader, Campbell has held leadership positions within ATMIA’s Americas Region and Independent ATM Deployer communities. He has also mentored developing industry leaders and regularly contributed as a speaker and moderator at industry events.
Campbell succeeds David Tente, who has led ATMIA’s Americas activities for more than 13 years and played a significant role in building and strengthening the association’s presence throughout the region.
“David has built an incredible foundation for ATMIA in the Americas, and I’m honored to build on his work,” Campbell said. “I have tremendous respect for the legacy created by leaders including Tom Harper, Mike Lee, and David, and I’m especially grateful for David’s more than 13 years of leadership. It’s an honor to follow in his footsteps.”
Campbell added, "I’m incredibly grateful to Lonnie and Jeff Foote, President and CEO, ePayResources, for their trust and the opportunity to lead ATMIA in the Americas."
