Celebrating a Special Honour - Tim Wildash OAM

We are delighted to share that our CEO, Tim Wildash, has been awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in the King’s Birthday Honours 2025 for his outstanding service to the cash management industry.

This prestigious national honour recognises his leadership, innovation, and dedication to ensuring cash remains accessible to all Australians. Since founding Next Payments, Tim has championed the role of independent ATM operators in supporting communities, particularly in regional areas where bank branches have closed. His pioneering work has helped transform the industry, ensuring that consumers retain choice, convenience, and privacy in how they access and spend their money.

Under Tim’s leadership, Next Payments has grown into a market leader, with over 4,600 ATMs across Australia and New Zealand, while also investing in new payment technologies and achieving carbon neutrality as part of our commitment to sustainable business practices.

This recognition is a testament to Tim’s commitment and vision, marking a proud milestone for both Next Payments and the industry we serve.
