Closing 2025 Strong: Regional Highlights & a Major Announcement for 2026

As we wrap up another dynamic year across the global ATM and cash ecosystem, it’s a pleasure to bring you the December update for our Europe and Emerging Markets members. The past month has been rich with developments across Europe, Africa, India, Pakistan, and the Middle East—regions where innovation, resilience, and commitment to cash accessibility continue to shape the financial landscape.

Across Europe, we’ve seen continued investment in cash-recycling technologies and enhanced ATM security solutions, alongside fresh regulatory discussions aimed at safeguarding cash availability for all citizens. Meanwhile, Africa continues to demonstrate rapid adoption of hybrid financial models, where digital channels coexist with the fundamental value of cash—keeping ATMs central to financial inclusion.

In India and Pakistan, ATM deployments and cash-management improvements remain robust, with several new initiatives aiming to expand rural access and boost operational reliability. Across the Middle East, modernization efforts and upgraded ATM networks highlight a renewed focus on customer experience and transaction security, ensuring smoother, safer access to cash.

Introducing the ATMIA Europe & Emerging Markets ROAD SHOW – June 2026

We’re thrilled to share a major new initiative for our regions: the ATMIA Europe & Emerging Markets ROAD SHOW, taking place in June 2026. This exciting two-city event will bring us to Madrid and Berlin, offering a compact, high-value format designed for connection, collaboration, and forward-looking industry insight.

Each location will feature:

• 2 days of programming
• 4–5 speaker slots per day
• 4–6 valuable sponsor partners
• Approximately 50 delegates, ensuring a more intimate, engaging experience

This road show is crafted to spark meaningful discussions, facilitate stronger networking, and create a memorable, interactive environment for our community.

A Call for Speakers will be issued in early January 2026, and we encourage members with thought-leading insights or innovations to put their names forward.
