By ATMmarketplace.comDiebold Nixdorf Inc. will supply 3,200 self-service cash recycling systems to the Russian Post Bank, which is expanding its retail banking network within post office branches throughout Russia.
Diebold Nixdorf and its local distribution partner, Terminal Plus, will provide installation and associated maintenance services, a company press release said.
Post Bank became the first bank in the Russian market to convert its entire self-service network to recycling technology in 2015. By end of 2018, the bank will offer cash services to clients on more than 4,000 Diebold Nixdorf recycling systems, according to the release.
The new installations will allow the bank to remove traditional cashier stations and reroute all cash transactions — including loan grants, settlements and deposits — to self-service systems.
"Diebold Nixdorf's outstanding systems quality and comprehensive services has enabled us to streamline operational efficiencies and achieve network growth in smaller settlements and distant territories in Russia," Post Bank board member and Director of Operations Elena Mokhnacheva said in the release.
