Tracking the Surge: Crypto Bills Drive the Majority of 2025 Legislative Alerts
Wednesday, November 19, 2025
Legislative activity has slowed down, but produced over 1,800 alerts, for a total of 440 new bills. Every state, except Nevada, has enacted at least one new bill related to topics that ATMIA monitors – a total of 57.
Only Delaware, Nevada, and Tennessee have not introduced cryptocurrency related legislation this year. About two-thirds of the bills introduced are related to cryptocurrency, as well as 80% of all the alerts.
