ATMIA EEM Roadshow 2026: Where Advocacy Meets Industry Action
Wednesday, May 20, 2026
The payments landscape across Europe and Emerging Markets is evolving at extraordinary speed. Digital transformation, geopolitical instability, cyber threats, operational disruption, and changing consumer expectations are reshaping the future of financial access and infrastructure. Yet amid this transformation, one reality remains clear: resilience matters more than ever.
That is why the ATMIA Europe & Emerging Markets Roadshow 2026 is emerging as one of the most important industry gatherings of the year. The Roadshow will take place in Madrid on 1 June and Berlin on 3 June, bringing together senior leaders and decision-makers from across the cash, ATM, payments, and security ecosystem.
Unlike large-scale expos where meaningful engagement can often be diluted, the ATMIA EEM Roadshow is intentionally designed to bring together the people who are actively shaping the future of cash, ATM infrastructure, payments, security, and financial access across the region.
In Madrid and Berlin, senior leaders from banks, ATM deployers, cash management organisations, central banks, processors, fintechs, security providers, regulators, and technology innovators will come together for focused discussions on the issues that matter most to the industry.
At the centre of this year’s Roadshow is advocacy.
Across Europe and Emerging Markets, the industry is navigating increasing pressure around access to cash, infrastructure sustainability, operational resilience, fraud prevention, and evolving regulatory expectations. The Roadshow creates a platform not only to discuss these challenges — but to drive practical industry dialogue around how the sector responds collectively.
Key sessions throughout the agenda will address:
- The future role of cash in an increasingly digital economy
- Crisis preparedness and infrastructure resilience
- Security and operational risk
- Shared and utility ATM models
- Branch transformation and hybrid banking
- ATM software innovation and automation
- Cash access, trust, and financial inclusion
One of the defining themes of this year’s discussions is the recognition that cash remains a critical component of national resilience. Recent global events have demonstrated that during periods of disruption — whether geopolitical, cyber-related, operational, or environmental — access to cash and robust ATM infrastructure continue to play a vital role in maintaining public confidence and economic continuity.
The advocacy discussions in Madrid and Berlin will explore how the industry can strengthen collaboration between financial institutions, deployers, regulators, and service providers to ensure sustainable access to cash while modernising infrastructure for the future.
Importantly, the value of the Roadshow extends far beyond the stage.
This is where real conversations happen.
The networking environment at the ATMIA EEM Roadshow is uniquely positioned to foster direct engagement between decision-makers and industry stakeholders. The conversations taking place across the two events are expected to influence partnerships, strategic priorities, operational models, and advocacy initiatives long after the Roadshow concludes.
Industry momentum has already been exceptionally strong, with sponsorship packages rapidly selling out and attendance nearing full capacity.
With fewer than 20 seats remaining, this is now the final opportunity to join the conversations shaping the future of cash access, ATM resilience, payments infrastructure, and financial security across Europe and Emerging Markets.
The future of the industry will be shaped by those in the room.
We look forward to welcoming you.
